Francisco Hernandez

Francisco Hernandez is an experienced translator and interpreter, equally at ease in Spanish, English and French. He holds a Master’s Degree in English from the University of Oriente, Cuba, and a Bachelor’s Degree in French from the University of Pedagogical Sciences in Cuba.

A Quebec resident since 2012, Francisco has worked as a research assistant in terminology and a translator at the School of Medicine, University of Montreal. From 2008 to 2011, he was an official interpreter on the
Translation and Interpretation Services Team (ESTI) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Council of State and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Cuba. In 2007 and 2008, he served as a specialized translator
and interpreter in engineering for Canada’s Sherritt International Corporation in Cuba. From 2005 to 2007, he taught English and French at the University of Pedagogical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba.
